Privacy Policy

The short version

Bogain is privacy-delegated, not privacy-absent. You get a dedicated @bogainbox.com address and hand it to the brands you want to hear from. We process only the promotional mail that arrives at that address, or that you forward in. We never read, touch, or connect to your personal inbox, and we never sell your data.

What we process

• Mail sent to your @bogainbox.com address, or that you explicitly forward to Bogain. That is the only mail we ever see.
• The parts of each promo we extract to make it useful — merchant, discount, code, expiry — plus the message's images and links so we can show you the deal.
• Your account basics from Google sign-in (name and email address), used to identify your account and send you your daily digest and reminders.
• Your own activity inside Bogain (deals you save, share to your Villa, or dismiss), used to personalize what we surface — suggestions only, never silent action.

What we never do

• We never access, read, or scan your personal email inbox.
• We never process mail from retailers you haven't let in.
• We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We never store a password — Google sign-in is the only way in.

Sign-in and security

Bogain uses Google OAuthas its only login. We do not create or store passwords. Your data is isolated per account with row-level security in our database, so one account can never see another's deals.

Your data, your control

You are in charge of everything Bogain holds about you. From your settings you can:

• Export your data — take a copy of your deals and account information at any time.
• Delete your account and everything tied to it. Deletion removes your structured records and your stored images and assets.
• Ask Bogain to forget what it has learned about you — clearing your interaction history while keeping your account active.

Retention

Active deals stay live in your box. Assets for expired deals may move to cold storage after a longer window rather than being deleted immediately, so your history stays intact. Deleting your account removes everything.
